Inspiring Special Education Solutions: Lessons For The Covid-19 Era
Happy New Year! Finally, the moment we have been all waiting for has come. We just bid goodbye to the year that created so many challenging experiences. From our goals and plans that never happened, dreams that never came true, and the struggles we encountered as we tried to live the new normal, indeed, 2020 is not an ordinary year. Maybe we celebrated New Year’s Eve quite differently this year! However, as we did the countdown, we have high hopes that we will be able “to begin again.”
The new year, as you might know, marks the start of another decade of the 21st century. Along with all the lessons we learned, we are approaching this year more wisely. We even realized that our passion remains greater than any of our struggles. We are up to the challenge to find all possible solutions to provide better education to our children with the help of one another.
We came across this article from ace-ed.org written by Betsy Beaumon; we thought you might share the same sentiments as her.
“The entire system of education in America is struggling but it is special education that may have both the largest challenges and the most innovative ideas to help use this crisis as a transformative opportunity.” – Betsy Beaumon
We are not affiliated with any organization or authors/bloggers mentioned in the article. We might want to start another chapter with Robert Collier’s quote – “In every adversity there lies the seed of an equivalent advantage. In every defeat is a lesson showing you how to win the victory next time.” We still don’t know what tomorrow brings, but if a not so ordinary time requires an extraordinary us, then let us win the battle together!
