Illinois – What It’s Like Working Here

Illinois is a beautiful state marked by rolling hills, farmlands, and forests with cities such as Chicago populated with thriving, unique people.

Chicago isn’t the only city that’s inviting in Illinois. Naperville has 30 parks and hosts an independent film festival once a year. Oak Park houses the Ernest Hemingway Birthplace & Museum. With plenty of sights to see here, the state is rich with history, agriculture, and natural beauty.

The food is excellent as well! Chicago is home to the famous Chicago deep-dish pizza, as well as tons of food festivals including Taste of Chicago and Sausage Fest.

Music is prominent in this state. Blues, jack, country, and rock have all found a home in this state. There is almost always a music festival or venue to check out. If you’re into sports, you’ll find the Chicago Bears, White Sox, and Bulls.

If “the prairie state” is calling, you’ll find no shortage of SLP jobs in Illinois.
